About the company:
A Consultancy who offer forensic solutions for their clients requires a Structural Engineer. With significant experience in the insurance industry, our client is looking for a Structural Engineer with exposure to Residential projects who is confident being out on site.

About the role:
They require someone with the ability to think on their feet and Engineer without the use of Architectural Plans/Drawings is essential as you will be dealing with structural issues caused by variable natural and man-made incidents. Training will be provided into how you complete the detailed forensic reports submitted to clients after investigations.

This opportunity presents the chance to work in an ever-changing environment where no two days are the same and you will be working on multiple projects at any given time. Your days will vary from design/computations to site inspections scrambling around in a roof space or under a building.

About you:
  • Civil Engineering degree
  • Minimum of years local consultancy experience
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines 
  • The usual software; SpaceGASS, Structural Toolkit and AutoCAD
  • A demonstrated history of residential design is a must
  • Excellent written & verbal communication
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Most important: You’re a team player.
