My client, a Leading Gas Infrastructure provider across Australia is seeking an Engineering Manager to coordinate and manage the engineering design and field services, associated with the delivery of one of their major projects
team.
As the Engineering Manager you will be able to demonstrate proven experience in a Senior PM / Engineering Capacity over a period of 15 yrs.
You will be working on the design and delivery of a number of compressor station projects as well as the associated facilities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading a multi-discipline team of design and project engineers (internal and external) to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget and in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
- Manage the schedule and cost associated with the delivery of various engineering packages and be ultimately responsible for the successful handover of the project to the operations team
- Ensure that the final delivery of the project is fit for purpose and has been completed within all company standards and policies as well as government and safety regulations
- Ensure that the output produced by each different discipline is compatible with each other and fits to the overall design for the compressor station and associated assets.
As the Engineering Manager you would have several years demonstrated experience with the design, construction, operation or maintenance of gas transmission or oil and gas production facilities.
You will also ideally possess several of the following:
Demonstrable experience working with multiple disciplines including electrical, process and instrumentation.
Proven experience working with relevant Australian standards to Gas or Oil facilities
Experience planning and managing engineering resources as well as providing man hour and cost estimates.
